Wikipitaka - The Completing Tipitaka

What is the source of these translations?

I admire this project but I notice that the suttas included here don't credit the translator. Serious scholars will want to know the translator. Also, most of the translations I have found elsewhere are either copyrighted or have a usage license that allows republication but only if the source is credited. If these translations are copied from those sources, then this collection will have potential copyright violations.

Thanks for pointing out, many of these were provided by a user called Antropolis (I thank him) , however a source has not been indicated. Therefore one can compare the text with the freely available pali version provided at the bottom. I hope that helps. (Pali is difficult & outdated but its not impossible, pali is spiritual technology built on the experience of supernatural states called samadhi/jhana/trance states and teaching of Buddha are meant to achieve these instead of mere moral discourses. Once you understand this , things get simpler.)

Also it was the wish of Buddha to make his teachings available without any cost to everyone. Thats why most of work is free and is advised to be kept free for the pupose of liberating the humankind from the fetters of flesh. I hope you understand. And so I would like to state that whatever stuff I have provided , anyone is free to use it in any way for non-commercial purposes.
