I'm going to be doing some edits on this page, but it probably needs some serious attention, as a major error jumped out me.
Celibacy is for monks, and yes, it's necessary to attain full enlightenment, but it's a serious error to make it seem like celibacy is a requirement for laypeople. There is even one place where it implies it's a requirement for a layperson.
Many thanks you for suggestions, however as creator of page the intention was to to convey simplified version of the path which many people find hard to understand. And I used hindi(sanskrit) words too especially for Indians because these words are used daily in India. Celibacy is actually called brahmacarya(celibacy+other seelas) by Lord Buddha(you can see it everywhere in pali and it is also a common hindi word). As Indian it is understood that all the spiritual path is based on brahmacarya which cannot be compromised , however for lay persons they can have periodic brahmacarya for continuation of society but then progress is slowed . I came across many people who want to accept sex in moderation ,but nowhere Lord Buddha has accepted leniency for sex., if you can show me words of Buddha . My suggestion is that before making any changes please inform me with references to the words of Lord Buddha, if I am wrong , I will accept the change. Many regards Buddhalord (talk) 16:29, 5 March 2021 (UTC)
No, they were not definitely not suggestions, I was correcting many serious and obvious errors. Still many to go. Restoring it to the previous version was vandalism, which I will be reverting. I would encourage you to begin study of the dhamma, as what you wrote is merely home-grown philosophy, marginally influenced by popular Buddhism.
Before you make any further corrupt reversions, please inform me with references to the words of the Lord Buddha for each sentence you want to change.
The page has nothing to do with you, it is about the teachings of the Buddha, and may be improved by any knowledgeable person.

Actually modifications to original text is called vandalism which you have done. I want you to cite sources from words of Buddha for any changes, especially from pali. If you make any change without any cite & link, thepage will be reverted to original. I am open to discussion and if you show me words of Lord Buddha with links , I will accept. otherwise please dont make any change. Buddhalord (talk) 10:45, 6 March 2021 (UTC)
