Chapter-23.

1. So the venerable Sudhamma went, with another Bhikkhu as companion messenger, to Makkhikasanda, and obtained pardon of Chitta the householder. And he conducted himself aright, and he became subdued, and he sought for release (&c., as above, in chapters 6, 7, down to the end).

Here end the eighteen cases in which there ought to be a revocation of the Patisaraniya-kamma.
